The UK government is particularly keen to better understand UK businesses’ views of intellectual property (including trademark, copyright, patents and trade secrets) protection in China, and how this affects their appetite for doing business in China.
The purpose of obtaining such information is to better prioritise the UK government’s focus in China, whether that involves doing more to engage UK businesses on the changes that China has made and therefore the opportunities that exist within the market, or understanding where concerns remain to prioritise the UK government’s engagements with China on intellectual property rights.
All parties involved in this research are obliged by law, including the UK GDPR and all applicable law about the processing of personal data and privacy, to keep your answers confidential. You may also send in your answers anonymously. We would be grateful if you would send your answers to Chiang Ling Li of Tiang & Partners at Chiang.ling.li@tiangandpartners.com. Your answers will in any event be anonymized and will not be shared with any third party.
Please give as much explanation as possible. The direct sharing of your experiences and concerns will help inform UK government decisions. We thank you in advance.
