CBI member Rolls-Royce has signed a contract to modernise rod control system equipment in 14 of CGN’s CPR1000 nuclear power units in China. It’s the first contract of its kind for Rolls-Royce in China and was signed with CGN subsidiary, Suzhou Nuclear Power Research Institute (SNPI).
The newly formed partnership will also allow the CGN group to achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvements for the operations of its power plants.
