CBI member Jaguar Land Rover reported its’ best ever February retail sales of 37,494 vehicles, up 31% on February 2015.
The company sold 83,510 vehicles in the first two months of 2016, up 27% compared to the same period in the previous year. Retail sales for February were up year-on-year across all regions.
Sales in China for February were up 14% on the same month in the previous year, representing a second consecutive month of year-on-year growth in the China market.
Jaguar sales were led by the new XE and MY2016 XF while both locally produced vehicles – the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery Sport – maintained their positive sales start to the year.
