CBI member EY recently announced that it had been chosen by business undergraduates in Hong Kong as the most attractive employer, according to global employer branding consultancy Universum's Hong Kong Top 100 IDEAL Employers 2014.
EY regularly connects with university students in Hong Kong. Its signature campus programme, EY Academy, is a structured three-year programme designed to provide local university undergraduates the ultimate EY experience through mentoring, training, teaming, networking, and internships in EY's Hong Kong and mainland China offices.
Agnes Chan, Hong Kong and Macau Managing Partner of EY, said, "I am pleased and honoured that local young talent has such a high regard for EY as a potential employer. This speaks volumes about the attractiveness of the professional services sector and particularly about EY as a global organization focused on investing in the learning and development of our people."
She also said, "I believe EY's purpose - building a better working world - resonates with students in Hong Kong. At EY, we are committed to developing future leaders who are not only capable of achieving business success but also care for our community and environment. Through our campus activities, we get a clear message from Hong Kong's future talent that they want to make a real difference in their community and change the world for the better."
