China Direct would like to congratulate CBI member and leading aircraft manufacturer Airbus for achieving a new company record of 510 commercial aircraft deliveries to 94 customers in 2010.
Airbus achieved significant success in the Chinese market last year, delivering more than 110 new aircraft to Chinese airlines from its manufacturing facilities in Toulouse, Hamburg and Tianjin.

New CBI members and leading financial services firms JPMorgan and Morgan Stanley received approval from the China Securities Regulatory Commission earlier this month to launch securities joint ventures (JVs) with Chinese partners.
JPMorgan will partner with First Capital Securities while Morgan Stanley will link up with Huaxin Securities.
The two U.S. banks will hold 33% stakes in their respective JVs and will be able to underwrite securities for the mainland market.
The approval marks a positive step forward in the greater opening up of China’s financial markets to foreign participation. Read more here, here and here.
